PALS Club: Boys
The PALS club was an awesome week of engaging boys in team building games, collaborative activities and flexible thinking. They participated in activities that involved creating and communicating their own ideas while demonstrating flexibility in their thinking and ensuring everyone’s ideas were valued. Their favourite activities of the week included the bucking bull, strategy board games and the parameter ball activity. The PALS Olympics were definitely a strong highlight of the week, where they participated in activities to challenge their endurance, strength and gross motor skills. Collaboratively negotiating rules, scoring; winning and losing challenged the boys. It was great seeing them build skills in these areas and encourage each other to do the best they could over the course of the week.
Our final highlight of the week was playing Kids Against Maturity, where the boys practiced demonstrating their creativity and sense of humour. Overall, the PALs group was energetic, fun, and it was amazing to see so many wonderful friendships made!
