Social Squad | School Holiday Group Recap!
Over the course of the week the children engaged in a number of activities addressing social interactions that they may come across in the playground, home, or in various social settings.
The Social Squad group started each day with a pool noodle fight to warm up their bodies, share and get to know one another in a fun and energetic way! We also had a week long challenge where the kids had to create a catapult, along with a tower for the catapult to knock down! The social squad transitioned into smaller groups to complete this challenge, each of which was given a unique team name. Over the course of the week, they used their imagination to build their towers. The boys had mindcraft creepers whilst one of the girl’s groups used balloons!
This week presented many fun challenges, with lots of negotiation, compromise and sharing at the centre of each activity. The whole group had so much fun and loved sharing their creations with each other on the last day.
